After watching the historic presidential debate last night, it is important that it is expressed to you the importance of God’s election. YHWH is I AM and HE IS who HE IS. It is as simple as that. The Father sent the SON to be the substitute for our sin & the SON PROMISED the HOLY SPIRIT and the person of the HOLY SPIRIT came in power and might!
So what does this have to do with the election? Great question: here’s an answer. God wants to elect you as a king or queen in HIS COMING KINGDOM! One thing you will learn is that JESUS IS KING no matter what time period you live in. In the OT, he had not come yet. In the NT and the present day, HE HAS COME and HE will come again! We need to be ready for that coming! YESHUA glories in the people of his that BOLDLY PROCLAIM HIS WORD throughout the earth (Matthew 10:32)! If you acknowledge HIM, you will be acknowledged BEFORE THE FATHER IN HEAVEN! In short, HE elects those who choose to follow him without relenting into HIS FAMILY. Pretty simple, right?
My advice to you is this. GO OUT AND VOTE. People around the world die for this right. You must honor and respect those people & participate in the democracy we hold so near and dear. Regarding the candidates: vote your conscience, your convictions, & stay true to YOUR VALUES and not the values espoused by others (whether it be a party-line or what not). Full disclosure, I am a registered Republican (in name only): this is so I can vote in primaries. Otherwise I would be an independent if my state allowed independents to vote in primaries. My views are pretty set in stone. Pro-life, pro-conception, pro-pre-conception. Everyone deserves a chance AT LIFE! People make choices, but we should respect God’s control over life and death. Additionally, I am a Constitutional Preservationist. What does that mean? In the same way that I believe the Inspired Word of God is 100% essential for the walk of a Child of God, the Constitution is essential for U.S. citizens to live and prosper. It outlines your rights & tells of the limitations placed on those in power as government officials. Lastly, when in the course of human history a government starts moving closer and closer to tyranny, it is the DUTY OF THE PEOPLE to STAND UP & REMAIN APART from the institutions that will try to reap their destruction.
2016 will be the first and last election for many things. I pray you pick a side and stick to your values & closely-held convictions. The LORD has been showing me that we are fighting an ideological civil war that may manifest itself in the physical realm once again. KNOW YOUR RIGHTS, exercise them as you see fit, and GIVE ALL THE GLORY TO GOD, no matter what the outcome.
