America Will Be Revived

On July 12th, I was lucky enough to have a friend invite me to a meeting in West Virginia where Jeremiah Johnson was preaching in the evening. I have been blessed to have attended a number of Holy Ghost services, but this one was a little different than what I was used to (which is good). He spoke a lot about how the pandemic is separating the wheat from the chaff in the American church. A word he released to us that night was that there is “a boom coming to the upper room” but before that takes place, there is a “broom coming to the upper broom.” I believe the broom began early on in the pandemic (and continues still) but we are definitely now a boom in the Kingdom. In essence, God is purifying his bride so he can return for a glorious church.

All this to say, what was dropped into my spirit during this time was when he was speaking about the bondage of the Israelites in Egypt, the LORD began to work on my heart regarding a topic the church needs to hear, especially in America. Many people think the intense persecution experienced by Christian oversees can’t happen here. However, just look at how easily we gave up our rights for a virus that, if infected, has 99.99% of people recover from. If something like that can trick people into giving up their rights, imagine something far worse.

So this message the LORD wants me to deliver to the church builds upon the word I received in June. I will put the scripture reference and what God specifically spoke regarding each reference. Then I will expound on what the Lord showed me regarding each of the three points:

  • Exodus 1:8-14: “Learn from the shrewdness of the [Egyptians] and let not your fate be the same as my people, Israel.”
    • Before Israel was enslaved by the Egyptians, they were a great, vast people and actually began to outnumber the Egyptians. So Pharaoh shrewdly began to burden them with tasks and resulted in the Israelites enslavement. I would imagine at the onset, it didn’t seem like much to the Israelites, but as Pharaoh continued to instruct his task masters after the initial burdens, it opened the door to full-on bondage.
    • With coronavirus, we are at the beginning stages of the “Egyptians” and people in power in America (many of them unelected) usurping power away from the people (where it belongs). If we do not fight to keep our precious rights, we will lose them permanently and certainly won’t receive them again on the back end.
    • As the Body of Christ, we must rise up and STAND UP for what is right and holy. This oppression from the devil with coronavirus is contrary to the Word of God. It is an attack on the church, no doubt. If you can’t see that, ask God to give you wisdom.
    • We must learn from the shrewdness of the Egyptians (tyrannical leaders of this present age). The gates of hell will not prevail against the church, but if we don’t stand, many will find themselves in bondage. Fight the good fight of faith and don’t compromise the Word of God!
  • Psalm 83: “War is coming. But you will be victorious”
    • In America, we are in the midst of an election season and a Supreme Court vacancy nomination and confirmation process. This comes following a time of coronavirus hysteria, protests, rioting, etc. This is because the devil is desperate, knowing that a move of God like we’ve never seen before is being birthed in this hour. As it says in Isaiah 43:19, “Behold, I am doing a new thing now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.” Ask God to give you the ability to discern the this new thing he is doing and to be a part of it!
    • We may live in a natural word, but our war is in the spirit and the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but spiritual. These things going on in our natural world are the result of spiritual warfare. Spiritual war is upon us and we are in the midst of the battle. But WE WILL be victorious. We have to be empowered by the Holy Spirit to not compromise the Word of God and truly be set apart from the world.
  • Psalm 85: “America will be revived!”
    • Not only will we be victorious, America will be revived. I have heard so many words about revival and it is exciting to see things that are already coming to pass. However, it starts with you. According to 2 Timothy 4:5, we are all called to do the work of an evangelist. Even if you’re called to business or not directly in ministry, you can be anointed to evangelize wherever you go. You just have to be obedient. And when many people filled with the fire of the Holy Ghost make themselves available and obey the voice of the Lord, we can’t even begin to comprehend what God will do!
